St. Paul Natural Medicine Center

If you are an athlete, you have likely pushed your body to its physical limits many, many times. Regular practices, daily workouts, games or competitions year after year will ultimately take a toll on your body, even if you are careful. Sports injuries from overuse, accidents while playing or practicing, or just some routine soreness or stiffness are all part of the game. St. Paul Chiropractic & Natural Medicine Center specializes in sports injury therapy to help treat and prevent injury in athletes of any age.

Effectiveness of Chiropractic Adjustments for Sports Injury

Being physically active is an incredibly healthy way to live life. Playing a sport or participating in a competitive activity of any kind can help your metabolism, your heart, your blood pressure and your mental health. However, it is very important to stay healthy so that you can maintain your optimal activity level. That is where our team comes in. Chiropractic adjustments are a highly effective way to manage all types of sports injuries including back pain, neck and shoulder pain, concussions (and other head related injuries) and other soft tissue injuries. Chiropractic treatments will manipulate your joints and spine which in turn reduces the pressure on your nerves and affected soft tissue. This will ultimately reduce the inflammation and pain that you are feeling. Chiropractic adjustments are non-invasive and extremely safe, so you do not have to worry about experiencing side effects, rebound effects, long recovery after surgical intervention or becoming reliant on pain medication. Regular chiropractic treatment can get you back to your normal activities quickly!

Chiropractic care can be preventative in order to keep your body feeling healthy or used as treatment for an acute or chronic injury, depending on your needs. Our chiropractic team specializes in sports injury management and will work to understand your history and your goals so that we can develop an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to you. We believe that this is one of the most important parts of our jobs–no two athletes are the same. No two athletes come in with the same issues. So, our job is to understand how your body works and help you achieve your optimal health moving forward so that you can do what you love for as long as possible. Our passion for chiropractic care is similar to your passion for your sport–when we work together, we can achieve success for you!

Olivia brings Southern warmth and exceptional expertise to St. Paul Chiropractic & Natural Medicine Center, where she has been an indispensable team member since 2018. Originally from Georgia, Olivia made Minnesota her home in 2010, establishing roots in East St. Paul and graduating from Johnson Senior High School before pursuing her passion for healing at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis.

With over a decade of experience in therapeutic bodywork, Olivia’s journey began as a certified massage therapist in 2016, quickly distinguishing herself through her remarkable ability to address soft tissue injuries and chronic pain conditions. In January 2024, Olivia’s role evolved to Lead SoftWave Technician Specialist, where she skillfully applies Extra-Corporal Shock Wave Therapy to address knee pain, shoulder injuries, and various soft tissue conditions. Her extensive background in massage therapy provides her with an intuitive understanding of the body’s mechanics, allowing her to achieve exceptional results with SoftWave technology.

Olivia is also a key practitioner in our proprietary Spinal Rehabilitation Therapy (S.R.T.) program, working seamlessly alongside Emily to create a therapeutic environment that promotes optimal healing and recovery. Together, they form the backbone of our patient care team, establishing an atmosphere of comfort, trust, and clinical excellence that patients consistently praise.

She greets every patient with a warm smile, approaches each case with meticulous attention to detail, and consistently demonstrates the perfect balance of technical skill and heartfelt care. Her humble nature belies her exceptional abilities, making her therapeutic presence all the more powerful.

Outside the clinic, Olivia embraces life’s simple joys with her 7-year-old daughter and spouse. She finds renewal through camping adventures, expresses her creativity through drawing, delights in culinary exploration, and soaks up Minnesota’s precious sunshine whenever possible.
